L02: Legal & Ethical Issues

While creating my magazine I will need to make sure I use no copyrighted content such as interviews, quotes, logos or any graphics already created/used as this could be taken to court under copyright, all of the content material inside the magazine should be original and created by me. I should also make sure that there is no offensive content such as racist slurs during the interview with the musician and that there is no vulgar language e.g swearing or rude slang from the artist. I should also make sure that while I am creating my magazine there is no nude women/males showing off their bodies that could be seen by younger audiences as my magazine is rated 13+ this would come under the Obscene Publications Act.
