L01: Marketing & Distribution Methods

Marketing is a way in which the final product is promoted and advertised to make the audience want to buy it, this will be over media platforms for the best way for the final product to get out to the target audience/how they reach the target audience through marketing. This is important because it is how the product will be found by the target audience and actually found out to be purchased which is the main goal in marketing. E.G. Television Advertisements/Bus Banners/Posters. Used to target a specific demographic.

Distribution is the way the final product is distributed out the target audience for purchase and how they can make it available to the target audience to purchase (physically getting it to the target audience) this is important because it will be how the target audience will be able to buy the product to bring money to the company. The showroom cinema as a cultural hub (a place where people hang out) Spinning Disks for a music magazine Leadmill/O2/Foundry. Student Unions

- Social Media

- Flyers/Leaflets

DISTRIBUTION & MARKETING METHODS:
I can use synergy to promote the magazine/brand by using the local radio station 'Sheffield Life' as this will also be the best possible way to reach the target audience as they are already listening to the radio for music so if the radio station promotes the magazine, they will have full attention on anything they say. The radio will also be effective as it is local, being Sheffield that will help reach the local Sheffield audience as the magazine is also for the people who live in Sheffield.
