Here are the stages of me creating my first ideas into a magazine, I have used Photoshop CC 2018, this is the newest version of photoshop so I will be able to create everything I want digitally to without having to draw it out on paper. I have used few tools and mostly basic ones such as an Eraser, Paint Bucket, Levels, Rectangle Tool, Type Tool and the Lasso Tool. All these helped perfectly to create my first attempt of a magazine, I used the eraser and lasso tool to remove the background of the photograph I took of Toby and make sure I removed every little part of the background behind him so I could add a plain one in photoshop, I then went on to used the levels in adjustments so I could bring all the colours of him in as I was using a black background so didn't want him to look too pale or bright. Using the Rectangle tool I was able to add the boxes round some of the texts and use it and an underline on the masthead so that they manage to stand out that little bit more. I use the type tool to get all my writing in for the masthead and the other text round the magazine so that it stands out rather than being plain
